Who we are?

Kokkolan Työttömät is religiously and politically non-committal association founded in Kokkola, 1992. Our purpose is to improve the status and well-being of the unemployed, and offer them employment opportunities.

We act as a guardian of the interests of the unemployed. We make initiatives and presentations to authorities and organizations. We take a stand in the media on issues related to the unemployed. We organize counseling services, information events, courses, trainings, hobby and recreational activities for the unemployed.

In order to support our activities, we can own necessary real estate and securities, accept wills and donations, carry out lotteries and fundraisers, and carry out cafe and canteen operations, transport and real estate services, as well as other small-scale sales of products and services, in premises rented for the purpose and with tools purchased.
